As I prepare to part with my M3, I've been set on picking up something japanese and turbocharged. After looking at everything from 300zxs, to Dodge Stealths, to WRXs, to 240sxs, to Supras, and more, I've come to the conclusion that there were a ton of awesome cars with snails that came to be in the '90s. Show me your favorites.

The car that didn't get one from the factory.
Or at least not sold in the U.S.

As you posted this, I changed the cover photo to something I found on my phone.
The first and one of the only turbo cars I've ever driven was my dad's old 9000 Aero. I love that car.

Haha I love that photo! That thing is a special brand of strange!
I absolutely adore the 9000. I think it's one of the most underappreciated cars ever. I've driven a 900 SPG and it's something incredibly special. My friend from Boeing (he's a cool dude, worked on the Dreamliner, humblebrag) gave me a ride to and from a church (UU, so not like super God-y church) event in his Viggen and it was quick.
Obviously I'm a fanboy.

Here's another good one. Far from reliable, but far from slow as well. Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4.

Oooh, that's a nice CD. :)
Aside from aforementioned SAABs, I'll go with...
Ford RS Cosworth
Lotus Elan Turbo
Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo
Mazda 323 GTX (EU)

Since the Spirit R/T has a spot already.
I wouldn't kick an IROC Daytona out of my garage.

I'm in love with the idea of a DSM, but the one I've been dreaming about on my local CL scares me a bit, and the rest seem to be neglected or ready to crank-walk right into the junkyard.
Enjoy it, those cars are gems.

Yea mines a pretty basic build. Also i bought it with most stuff done. Mine has an older 6 bolt engine with 40,xxx miles. 16g turbo, slightly bigger injectors, full stand alone aem computer, full exhaust. New ACT clutch and its going to be running 25psi it should make 310hp to the wheels when were done
In a Mini; let them mock me as My Mini Countryman is higher than you
